All Pad stacks are Metric.

Range: SMD Pad stacks

0.1 - 3.0 MM   with a step size from 0.05MM  (+/- 5700)

# 0.2 x  0.1 to 0.2 x 5.0MM

3.0 - 10.0 MM with a step size from 0.1 MM  (+/- 7100)

# 3.0 x  0.1 to 3.0 x 10.0MM

 

Hint !

Expedition allows you to rotate pad stacks when adding them to a cell, so there is no reason

to create both a Horizontal and Vertical version from the same size.

"Vertical Horizontal" versions are included in the Library in a separate folder !

Range: Thru Pin Pad stack

Circle Pad on Outer Layers:  0.3 - 15MM [drill step: 0.1MM, Pad step (25*0.2MM)]  (+/- 3700)

Square Pad on Outer layers:  0.3 - 15MM [drill step: 0.1MM, Pad step (25*0.2MM)]  (+/- 3700)

# 0.3 x  0.9 to 0.3 x 5.7MM

Naming convention:

SMD: S (square)/ C (Circle)/ R (Rectangle) X size_Y size) in 1/100 MM
# R050_115 => Rectangle Pad X size = 0.5MM Y size = 1.15MM

# S100_115 => square Pad size = 1MM

 

Thru Pin: D (Drill hole) C (Circle)/ S (Square) in 1/100 MM

Pad signal layers = Drill hole + 0.55MM Power = Drill+0.95MM (Default DR)

# D030C210 => Drill hole = 0.3 Circle Pad from 2.1 on Outer, Inner Layers 0.85, Power 1.15MM

# D030S210 => Drill hole = 0.3 Square Pad from 2.1 on Outer, Inner Layers 0.85, Power 1.15MM

 

• Solder Mask Opening & Paste Mask is 1:1 with the pad size on outer layers

• Power Thermal pad is a "4_WEB_ROUND_THERMAL"

• "TIE_LEG_WIDTH" and "THERMAL_CLEARANCE" 0.2MM

• Library includes all necessary Pads and Holes for the Pad stacks
